The next meeting will be May 12, 2003 at 7PM.
BCHWWSC shall be a regional representative of BCHW, working to preserve the legal and moral claim of American citizens to use live stock on public lands for recreation.
BCHWWSC shall work toward uniting local live stock users as a viable contracting group to work with local government and public agencies to achieve the goals and objectives of BCHW.
BCHWWSC shall work toward educating and informing live stock users, and others, of the impact of live stock use on public lands, especially fragile areas, to minimize or prevent irreparable damage to such area. To encourage responsible citizen involvement in governmental actions affecting such public lands, and to demonstrate that live stock users are citizens concerned about protecting the environment, as well as sustaining equilibrium for the community, front country and the backcountry.
BCHWWSC shall work to oppose unjustified restrictions on, and closure to saddle stock use on public land.
